Week 10 saw Team Respect learning about the importance of a topic sentence to let the reader know what they will read about in the following paragraph.
This group has been gathering information together on weaving by reading several texts. They became interested in which materials are best for weaving. Māori use harakeke to weave many things. Below you will see an example written by Mya.

e-Learning Using Google Hangouts & Chromebooks
Room 10 is building connections with students in an Australian International School in Hong Kong.
To see our first Google Hangout you can click on the link, which will open in a new tab. Click here.
We are learning about each other.
Each group consists of 3 Room 10 students and they have 2 students their end, which makes 5 in a group.
We are finding out what they like learning about, what they want to be when they grow up, and other cool things.
We love learning about our new friends in Hong Kong and they love learning about us.
