Proud to represent Rangikura School!
Room 10 had six students represent Rangikura School today at the Inter School Cross Country.
They had a fabulous time and shared with the class that running 2 kilometres is hard work! But they were pleased to represent their school and whanau.
Well done Eraia, Nav, Javahn, Jipsy, Memphis and Mya.
We are very proud of you.
Congratulations from Tom Price Primary School in WA Australia
ReplyDeleteIt is great to hear about your recent cross country achievements.
We have just started our cross country training. Our school cross country carnival and inter school carnival will be held next term.
Your speed and agility must be at an amazing standard to be representatives of your school.
A round of applause for everyone!

Thank you for your comment. I was one of the kids that went to inter school cross country. It was very hard and once you start you will want to give up but don't because it is way more fun when you know you tried your best.

Thank you for your comment. Before the people had to go to the inter schools they had to train really hard and the other people had to train really hard as well. For the training we had to do the colour run. Colour run is when we run outside the school and run on streets and come back to school and whatever colour we come in we had to run in that colour the next day.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. To train we do colour runs. A colour run is where you run in your colour, we go in groups from fast to the more slower people. We have to run up hills and go down, we go up stairs and our teacher gives us our colour at the end.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do to train for cross country?
Good luck for your cross country.
Thank you for the comment. I didn't get a chance to run in the inter school x country. But I had a chance to run with the whole syndicate
ReplyDeletein the practice round.
Thank you for the comment. The top 5 people had to go to inter school cross country. I was one of the top 5 people in my year that made it in.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. To do cross country you need to train by doing the colour run. The colour run is when you run outside the school gates and around the school. During cross country I came 12th.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. What I did for training was the colour run, its basically a street run. I didn't make it into inter school but I participated in the syndicate cross country.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. Before cross country our training was the colour run. I did not make it in inter school cross country but I tried my best.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I did not run because I didn't come to school. But I really wanted to run because sometimes running is my thing to do when I play rugby with my friends.
ReplyDeleteI was doing the colour run so I can make it into the school cross country. And I was almost there until Norry ran past me and I come 6 place.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I was one of the people who did not make it in but I did train with my syndicate Pohutukawa.
ReplyDeleteHow do you train for your cross country?
Thanks for your comment. Before we did x country we trained by doing the colour run. The whole of Pohutukawa did the colour run and we ran outside of the school. The colour run is a street run outside of school.
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting on our inter school cross country post. I didn't make it in but I did train really hard. For our training we did the colour run ,it's basically a street run and you have to run in the colour you came. I came 6th place in our school country.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I'm someone who never went in to inter school cross country. For our training we did the colour run. The colour run is when you run out of our school and run down big hills and tall hills. When you finish you get a colour the colours are red, yellow, blue and green.
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely Musharraf
Thank you for your comment. The way how we trained was that we had to do this thing called the colour run, it was really hard because we had to run out of school grounds even our teacher Miss Hills had to wait for a while and then she had to chase us. The classes that had to do that was our syndicate (Pohutukawa).
ReplyDeleteHow does your training work?
Thank you for your comment.
ReplyDeleteI was one of the top five that made it into inter school cross country, it was really fun and I enjoyed it.
We had to run 200 meters and in the second lap I could not breath!
I felt like I was going to fall down. But I keeped going and I only stopped one time. I felt really proud of myself, because I came 8th and I was still happy.
Sincerely Jipsy.
Thank you for your comment. I didn't make it in because someone bumped me over. At least I tried. We usually do a fitness called colour run.
ReplyDeleteHow long are you guys going to run?
Thank you for your nice comment on our post. What my syndicate does to train for this big event is called the colour run. We run 1 km nearly every day, if the beautiful sun is out. We run up and down hills, run on flat ground and jog up stairs. I find it easy to run on flat ground and run down hills, but find it hard to run up hills because it can effect my asthma sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would like to find out is what do your school do for your training?
Good luck on your school cross country too.
Your sincerely Maria.
Thank you for your nice comment. Even if I don't make it to the inter school cross country I found it really hard to train and run but when I finished the cross country I felt proud of myself.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. Before we went to inter school our training was the colour run. For the colour run we ran outside of school, we had to run around streets and up lots of hills. We only do the colour run once a day which is in the morning.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment. I was one of the people who made it into the inter school cross country, but I'm not in the photo because sadly I couldn't run. I hurt my foot at my foot ball training when I went into a tackle it suddenly just went sore. I was excited that I made it into inter school cross county. When we did our school cross country it was exhausting and I came first.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever been into inter school cross country?
Do you like running/sport?
How does your school train for cross country?
Yours sincerely Havana.
Thank you for you comment. I was the one of them that made it to in inter school cross country. It was a lot of fun because I didn't give up on running to the finish . We did a 2km run, it was so tiring and I was hot like the sun .
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I didn't make it in, but I've been practising with my syndicate Pohutukawa. We been practising in term
ReplyDelete1. The run was called the colour run. It was when we run in a colour and then when we come up back to the school a teacher tells us what colour we will run the next day.
How are you going to train for your cross country?
Thank you for your comment. For our training we ran outside of our school. We call it the colour run and the reason why we call it colour run is because when we run and get to the finish line we get
ReplyDeletea colour our colours that we get is red, yellow, blue and green.when I
ran for colour run I came 10th place out of 32 people. It was really exhausting yours sincerely David.
Thank you for your comment. I like doing the colour run.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I was one of the kids that made it in the inter school cross county because I did the colour run , the reason why it called the colour run because you ran in a colour and go to a different colour. Nearly every day I did the colour run just to get fit for cross county.
ReplyDeleteHow are you training for your cross county?
Yours Sincerely Javahn
